This comic follows the internal monologue of my father, Peter Carrick.
My family has moved around the country and we are spread all over the world. Travelling is something the Carrick’s have always valued. However, when you travel to other countries you will come to learn how different life is elsewhere. For my Dad, this difference has become painfully obvious. Listen to the grumblings of an older American as he makes his way through a typical day in retirement.

Age of Ancients
Issue 1, 2023
Outside of professional design projects, I am working on a collaborative project with my creative partner, Matt Denny. We are developing a fantasy comic outside of our daily lives, working to create a comic world to entertain those in love with the surreal.
In this issue, you will meet Arthull, the librarian encountered by an evil plague. While in another place a blight overcomes a magical forest, soon to spark an adventure in Potameides and Galeb.

Journey's End
2022
Journey's End is the comic that inspired me to keep making them! I used to draw comics as a kid but that fascination faded away until College. After making a zine (I made a comic instead lol) for an Intro to Drawing course at the University of Kentucky, I realized it was the perfect medium for my work.
